clothing: Nike Sportswear London Destroyers Jacket

Following the success of the NYC edition back in December, the Nike Destroyer Varsity Jacket campaign finally makes its way to good old London town.
“To celebrate the launch of the limited edition London Destroyer, Dazed pulled together a new kind of “London team”. A group that reflects the attitude and irreverence of London now. 8 individuals who in their own diverse fields (sport, music, art, fashion) are pushing boundaries with an unmistakably “London Attitude”. We talked to them about what their city means to them and a little bit more about what they do, whilst they don the jacket that symbolises their allegiance to the capital”

Visit Dazed for a more in-depth discussion with each individual.
The London edition of the Nike Sportswear Destroyer jacket will be available at the Nike 1948 store and Selfridges on February 8th, 2010.

clothing: Y3 Fall/Winter 2010 Preview

Since their 2003 collaboration debut; Yohji Yamamoto & Adidas have been at the forefront of all designer collaborations. Constantly providing the consumer with functionality blended with high end fashion aesthetics – the 2010 Fall/Winter collection continues this tradition.
The collection being mostly monotone and absent from prints/patterns (except for a few pieces) combines the runway with urban-wear effortlessly – again something that Y3 has done since its creation.
Back in 2008 Marcus Troy described Y3 with ’Creative innovation seems to be there only motto‘ – this sums up the Yohji Yamamoto & Adidas collabroation to a T (shirt) – then, now and even in years to come.
